Information on benefits for veterans using MGIB-AD and MGIB-SR

In general, veterans and service members who may be eligible for Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) education benefits under Chapter 30 would have entered Active Duty after June 30, 1985; completed at least 2 years continuous active service; contributed $1200 to the program during their first year of service; have received a high school diploma or GED; and received honorable discharge. Recipients may also qualify through other categories including: Service after June 30, 1985; Vietnam Era GI Bill Conversion; Involuntary Separation/Special Separation; and Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP), outlined on the VA's website.
 
The Reserve GI Bill, MGIB-SR (Seleted Reserve) education benefits are generally available to members of reserve elements of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, and members of the  Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. To be eligible a participant must:  have a 6-year obligation in the Selected Reserves or National Guard signed after June 30, 1985, or if an officer, agree to serve 6 years in addition to the original obligation; complete initial active duty for training; have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate before applying for benefits; and remain in good standing in a Selected Reserve or National Guard unit. متجر التطبيقات
 
The Reserve Educational Assistance Program provides assistance to members of the National Guard and reserve components (Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve) who are called or ordered to active duty service in response to a war or national emergency as declared by the President or Congress. google play download
