Counseling services at Spring Hill College aims to promote the campus values through provision of a confidential space that allows students to process their concerns while furthering their education. We uphold the belief in cura personalis of caring for the whole person and service to others. We are committed to ensuring that our students' mental health needs are cared for rapidly and appropriately. Counseling services advocates for our students through use of brief, solution focused therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, and referrals.
Counselors are here to help students work on their mental health for a healthier life.
There is no charge for counseling services in our office to SHC students. You can contact our office at 251-380-2271 or Counseling@shc.edu for more information or to make an appointment (email is preferred). Please note that we are often in session with clients and may not be able to answer the phone immediately.
