The Spring Hill College Registrar's Office is located at the east end of the Gregory F. Lucey, S.J. Administration Center, overlooking the south parking lot and the Jesuit Cemetery.  We are on the first floor, though if you are standing in the south parking lot it looks like the second.  You can get to our office via several wrought iron stairwells rising from the parking lot, or by walking through the elevator/stairwell area [adjacent to the Gautrelet Room] from the north side of the building, and then turning left.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm throughout the year (closed for lunch from 12:00-1:00 p.m.). Click here to see a general map of the entire Spring Hill Campus.

Official transcripts of a student's academic record can be ordered either in the Registrar's Office, or by faxing, emailing, or sending a transcript request through the mail. Transcripts are $10 each, and a check should be included with all requests sent by mail, to:

Once our office receives a transcript request there is usually a 2-3 day turn-around, sometimes longer during high-impact periods such as the end of a semester.

There is no charge for an unofficial transcript, so they can also be ordered by faxing or emailing a signed request form to (251) 460-2192. The Registrar's Office will then fax back, email, or mail out (as indicated) within 2-3 business days.

Pick up an add/drop form, have it signed by all professors and your academic advisor, then return the form to the Registrar's Office.

The term "advanced standing" means not only placement of a student in courses appropriate to his or her ability, but also acceptance of credits previously earned or the awarding of credit in departments in which the student has demonstrated an acceptable level of competence.

Students can qualify for advanced standing by means of the general or subject examinations of the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), the subject examinations of the Advanced Placement (AP ) Program, or from the examinations given in conjunction with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.
