Engaging members for life through timeless values, meaningful friendships, and innovative opportunities for growth.

Delta Delta Delta today offers young women a rich heritage of lasting friendships among women who share common goals and values.  Values of truth, self-sacrifice and friendship. The perpetual bond of friendship among members has inspiried generations of women to devote themselves to unselfish leadership and to a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime.

Since 1888, more than 238,000 women have joined the Tri Delta sisterhood at 180 chapters in both the United States and Canada and pledged to “steadfastly love one another.” This open motto describes the strong feelings of support our members provide to one another throughout a lifetime of membership in Delta Delta Delta.

Each collegiate member forges lifelong and meaningful friendships and engages in unique and innovative chapter initiatives focused on developing her into a well-rounded, successful woman.  Following college, Tri Delta provides many ways for woman to stay connected at every step on the journey of self-discovery and growth.  Tri Delta offers a perpetual bond of friendship at each stage of a woman’s life.

Delta Delta Delta strives to develop a membership which mirrors the student population of the campuses where it has chapters. The policies, procedures, plans and programs of Tri Delta exemplify inclusiveness, exhibit appreciation for diversity and express respect for human dignity and the worth of the individual.

We encourage you to participate in the recruitment process and learn more about what our organization has to offer you. Tri Delta’s recruitment philosophy is still faithful to our founding principle "to be kind alike to all and think more of a girl's inner self and character than of her personal appearance or circumstances" (Sarah Ida Shaw, Founder).

Recruitment can be a little overwhelming in the beginning! Here is some general information about the recruitment process for women and legacies interested in becoming members of Tri Delta.

Because Delta Delta Delta is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), it recruits new members under NPC's guidelines. The most common way to become a member of Delta Delta Delta is to participate in the formal recruitment (formerly known as rush) process. Please contact your campus panhellenic office or Greek office for the dates of formal recruitment as well as how to register.
