10-13-2011 Burglary
Spring Hill College DPS and Mobile PD are currently taking reports from several students that are reporting that someone entered their apartments in the fairways without permission.  They reported that the suspects announced themselves as maintenance workers. Investigative efforts indicated that these suspects were not maintenance employees.  There were descriptions of two suspects given:
Suspect # 1:  White Male, light brown hair, scruffy facial hair, medium build and height, gray shirt possibly a sweatshirt, red faced complexion
Suspect # 2:  Black Male, close cut hair, close cut beard, approximately 5’11, gray t-shirt and khaki pants possible shorts
Suspect Vehicle:  Champagne colored 4 Door Yukon, Alabama License plate
Stolen property:  1 apple IPOD

10-11-2011 Assault The Spring Hill College Department of Public Safety received a report shortly after 4:00 AM, 10-11-2011, that a student who was walking along Avenue of the Oaks was assaulted.  The victim reported to Public Safety and Mobile PD that as he was walking down the Avenue of the Oaks on the Spring Hill College campus he was “jumped” by three unknown white males approximately 22 to 26 years of age.  The victim reported that the suspects struck him repeatedly with their fists.  The victim’s reported injuries were pain and swelling to his face, pain to his hip and loss of consciousness.  Mobile PD and Spring Hill College DPS are investigating this incident.  Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is urged to call the Spring Hill College DPS 251-380-4444 or Mobile PD.
