We, the Interfraternity Council, exist to promote the shared interest and values of our member fraternities. The IFC will work to advance leaders engaged in learning, faith, justice, and service for life within member organizations in order to create better communities, better chapters, and better men.

Kyle Mistretta

Responsibilities:
  • Preside over all regular and special meetings of the IFC and maintain structure to ensure proper running of meetings;
  • Ensure that all projects and activities of IFC are effectively carried out;
  • Have the authority to call special meetings where and when necessary;
  • Represent IFC on any College or student committee as necessary;
  • Appoint all committee chairman and Judicial Review Board Justices upon recommendation of the Vice-President;
  • Serve as an ex-officio member of all committees with voice but no vote;
  • Serve as the liaison officer to the advisor of IFC;
  • Review, approve, and have authority to sign all Financial Transaction Forms for the expenditure of IFC funds;
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date president’s file which will include copy of current Constitution, bylaws and standing rules, Robert’s Rules of Order, IFC budget, current correspondence and materials, copies of IFC reports to campus administration, and other material as necessary;
  • Enforce all rules and regulations set forth in IFC constitution and bylaws;
  • Appoint and disband special committees;
  • Act in the best interest of the Greek population to increase visibility on the SHC campus and maintain relations with campus administration;
  • Perform all other duties pertaining to office and as assigned by IFC advisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep an up-to-date roll of IFC members and delegates and conduct roll call at meetings;
  • Prepare the agenda for each meeting;
  • Maintain current telephone and address list of IFC members;
  • Keep current statistics concerning the number of members of each IFC fraternity;
  • Keep full minutes of all IFC meetings and a record of all action taken by IFC Executive Board;
  • Distribute copies of minutes to fraternities and the Coordinator of Greek Life;
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date file that includes the minutes of IFC meetings, copies of all contracts, and current correspondence;
  • Keep a record of all amendments;
  • Notify all IFC members of meetings and functions.

Ryan Ankerson

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Recruitment Chairman;
  • Revise Recruitment Rules each term;
  • Implement all formal recruitment activities;
  • Serve as the co-chairman of the expansion committee;
  • Serve as the chairman of the Judicial Board;
  • Notify all IFC members of violations and sanctions imposed, including recruitment violations;
  • Enforce all rules and regulations set forth in the IFC Constitution and Bylaws;
  • Perform functions as may be delegated by the President;
  • Perform all other duties pertaining to office
Dylan Mire

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as IFC representative to all Greek committees planning all-Greek social and/or marketing events (e.g. Greek Week, Pig Roast)
  • Act in the best interest of the Greek population to increase visibility on the Spring Hill College campus and maintain relations with campus administration;
  • Develop and plan all IFC sponsored man-events;
  • Prepare a semester calendar of all IFC man-events;
  • Serve as the chair of Public Relations;
  • Perform all other duties pertaining to office;
Matt Mimlitz

Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for preparation of annual budget in cooperation with other officers;
  • Receive all payments due to IFC, collect all dues, collect all fines, and give receipts;
  • Be responsible for the prompt payment of all bills of the IFC;
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records; give a financial report at each regular meeting of the IFC and an annual report at the close of term of office;
  • Notify IFC members of delinquent bills;
  • Have authority to sign Financial Transaction Forms for the expenditure of IFC funds;
  • Maintain an accurate record of all expenditures through the retention of all receipts;
  • Submit a copy of all receipts to the Center for Student Involvement Secretary within one week of expenditure;
  • Serve as chairman of financial committee;
  • Perform all other duties pertaining to office
